Here is a drawing that I did of an Audi R8. I used graphite to draw the car and charcoal to draw the background. The Audi R8 is one of my favorite cars.

Eye Drawings

I am starting to do more drawings of eyes. Here is my latest drawing that I finished this morning. I was given permission to draw this image from a photo called "Eye See You", taken by Paul Sapiano. I am also working on a huge drawing that I almost have finished. I just have to do the touch-ups. I can not wait until that one is done!

Drawspace.com is a great place to share your drawings. You can view my profile at drawspace here. What is nice about drawspace is that you can get immediate feedback on your drawings. If you have a camera or scanner it is easy to add your images there. I suggest you give it a try if you are a drawing artist.

Drawing Directory

I have added a drawing directory to my site last week. If you have a site that covers the topic of drawing, feel free to add your link there. I have noticed that it has already been indexed by google and is ranked quite well already even though there is only my link added to the directory so far.

Just make sure you add your link to the correct category. Shortly after you submit your link I will review it. It will take usually less that a week. It might be added even the same day as it is submitted. Depending on when I check my e-mail.

Eye Drawing

This drawing of an eye I did awhile back, but I would like to share it here on my blog as well because it has been very well received my visitors to my site. This drawing is one of my favorites and is done with charcoal. I used a reference photo for the drawing, however, I made up parts as I went.

I found my drawing added to some other sites, which was fine with me, as long as the drawing is listed with the url to my drawing site.

Fairly recently I have been drawing for an excellent photographer. Her name is Tracy Wright. I have been given permission to draw some of her photographs. The pencil drawings I did I sent to her. What I like the most about her photographs is that the eyes are so perfectly in focus and the children she has photographed have character. This is one of the reasons why I love drawing photos of children so much. They are very expressive.
